Agents in Halo can use MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) to secure their account for any reason seen fit. This could be for data protection, security whilst out and about using Halo on mobile or a laptop, or if you have staff using Halo in a public facing part of your business.
Enabling for your Own Account
Adding MFA is easy for your own account:
Click your profile picture in the top right to open your settings pane
Click on "Password & Security"
Click on "Two-Factor Authentication"
Click "Enable", now MFA is enabled and you cannot login with entering a code sent to you securely.
Without an authenticator app you will be asked to authenticate via Mobile or SMS.
Using an Authenticator App
An Authenticator App such as Google or Microsoft Authenticator can be used instead of Email/SMS. These are available to download;
